today i got up and had a bagel. i listened to some stockhausen, whose concept of temporality was a key influence on my later stylistic development. because i had a spare hour or so i decided to treat myself and have a bath. it was pleasant, although now i am out of loquats and will probably have to have peaches for tea. never mind! my recording session was also good. we recorded a new song which suited well the style of my solos, usually tending towards aphorism more than virtuosity. i called it 'loquats in syrup'.
